CW started playing drums when he was 2 years old. He got his start and interest in music when his mom, Jana, would bring him out to see his dad play when they would play near home.

CW received his first drum set from a second cousin, Clint, and played it until it was shot. He got a set for Christmas when he was 4 and won his first competition when he was 4 ½.

When he was in The Tumbleweed Band, which was for 4 ½ years, he played drums, guitar and violin. He does not read music and for the most part he is self taught.

His interests are guns, art, history, traveling the west, eating and making people laugh.
